The result is mind-blowing! It’s really creepy though… (Matter of fact, I’m still cringing from her recent Halloween shots. *shudders*) Makeup, in its own right, is a beautiful form of art. Its ability to turn “normal” to “beautiful”, and “beautiful” to “drop-dead gorgeous!” is a firmly established fact, most especially among females.
However, the truth is, not only females employ the use of makeup art: musicians; circus clowns; performing artists; film actors and actresses also do in varying degrees of sophistication. Makeup artists are such amazing and talented people, constantly putting us in awe of their ability to create illusions and perfect versions of what we really look like.
Worthy of note is a particular bundle of creative artistic talent, Samantha Staines, who stands out from the rest by creating unique makeup facial distortions, so breathtaking and mind-blowing you quite literally “fall in line” to see what she does with her art, and then fall in love with its beauty.
In a series of Halloween-themed photos posted on her Instagram page, @sammylovesfossas, she showcases stunningly beautiful (albeit spooky) looks which would be perfect for scaring the wits out of people on Halloween – come 31st October.
She is also talented in recreating the looks of popular movie characters, from Mr Bean, to Harry Potter, to “red” Ron – even Dobby!
However, Samantha became an online celebrity after two of her “creepy-cringy” horror makeup art concepts were spotted by Instagram users, with the first photo showing how to transform her face to give the illusion that her face is being sucked into a hoover.
In the second photo, she made her face look as though it was blown away by a leaf blower.
Since then, she’s posted a lot of nightmarish photos on Instagram. Since it’s about a fortnight to Halloween, you could try your hand at one of the devilish-looking makeup effects.
The following concepts would be perfect for a Halloween party. They’re hilarious and moderately chilling, so no worries.
1. Mad-eye Moody Makeup
2. Harry Potter-themed Morsmordre Dark Mark Facepaint
3. Happy Big Smile Facepaint
4. Bat Makeup
(This is my favorite!)
With just some days left, is there any better way to have a really fun and frightening Halloween than creepy face paint? I think not!
Go ahead and have a good time scaring the life out of those stingy fellas.
All set for tricking-or-treating.Bwahahahaha!
